I have never had a kidney stone but my husband has had two episodes of them. The first time we called the rescue squad and they couldn't/wouldn't help him so I put him in the car and drove him to the ER. By the time we got there a good 20 minute drive he was actually feeling better, but we went in and had all the tests and a shot to make him sleepy. The second time I again put him in the car and drove him around until he felt better. a tank of gas is cheaper than the ER visit. See if Dan is up for a drive - grins.
Hope you are feeling better soon.Lesliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10687306206616350685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8789588075833994311.post-16971251538049440172009-08-28T11:54:18.818-06:002009-08-28T11:54:18.818-06:00There is no worse pain than that!! Why don't you drink down something slippery and get that little bugger out as fast as you can. No on second thought that would probably only make you throw-up which would add immensely to your discomfort. Wish I had some helpful advise, but as you can see, that is not my strong point
RoxanneRBShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17453414774597877792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8789588075833994311.post-5191801248422335842009-08-28T09:05:16.423-06:002009-08-28T09:05:16.423-06:00Karen, I hope that you feel better soon! So you can go back and reference your kidney stone episodes. Poor girl and on your birthday, too. Get in bed and watch some silly Lifetime TV or Real Housewives nonsense or something. We'll miss your art, but feel better soon! :) MMelissa Lavertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18438879176458436690noreply@blogger.com
