Be Yourself Card and Mojo Monday

I decided to play along again this week with Mojo Monday.  I, of course used some papers from the Free To Be Me Paper Pack (only $5 {$17.95 value} this month with each $50 order you place). Who wouldn't use this paper? It's just too yummy to resist!  This 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card was so much fun to create!

Can you see the shading on the feather? I first stamped it in Lagoon ink, then colored right over the top of the ink with a blue watercolor pencil to create a little shading and depth. I finished it off by outlining it in black with a black scrapbooking pen.

Don't forget that this month is National Scrapbooking Month. When you place a $50 order, you not only get the Free To Be Me Paper Pack for only $5, you also get the May Stamp of the Month for only $5 ($17.95 value).  Just head on over to place your order on my website. You'll be prompted to add your Stamp(s) of the Month and Paper Pack(s) before you check out.

The products I used on this card are listed (with links) at the end of this post for your convenience.

I thought it was the perfect card for this girl who graduated from pre-school this week. How did our little granddaughter, Daci get old enough to graduate from pre-school?
It seems like just yesterday she was this size.

Speaking of graduations, we also went down the first part of the month to Cedar City to see our son, Easton graduate Magna Cum Laude from Southern Utah University with his Bachelors in Hotel, Resort and Hospitality Management.  He has already begun work on his Masters.  He still has one year of football left to play, and should have most of his Masters of Public Administration done when he is done playing football next year. We are so proud of him.  He not only graduated with honors, but during his college career he has been a starting receiver on the football team, got married in his Sophomore year (2010) and he and his wife Daysha had their little Sage last August (2013).
