Cookie Bag Using the July Stamp of the Month

 

Happy Independence Day! I'm looking forward to a day spent with family. Although several of my kids and grand kids are out of town today (Dawson, Tannon, Brookley, Daysha, Sage and Baylor), the rest of us plan to get together, cook out and light a few sparklers with the kids. It should be a fun and relaxing day celebrating our country. Today's project is a fun little treat/cookie bag that would be darling on a 4th of July table, or any other fun summer gathering you have planned.

I used one of our Honey Paper Bags and decorated it up using the Enchantment Paper Fundamentals, matching Enchantment Fundementals Stickers, the July Stamp of the Month, paired with the Hello Awesome stamp set (love these two stamp sets together), and had a bag perfect for a 4th of July (or any other day's) table setting.

Apple Card - July Stamp of the Month

Hello!  I love the Summer. One of the things that I love most is FRESH PRODUCE!  My father-in-law truly has the most amazing garden of all time. He wins the grand prize at the county and state fairs every year in the produce division and has been featured on the local news and in the local newpapers. Needless to say, his 'stuff' is delish!  He stopped by 2 nights ago with a whole truckload of 'stuff' for us: fresh tomatoes, corn, peppers, carrots, onions, and potatoes. YUM!  That reminds me....this stamp set, "Sweet Life" is perfect for this harvest time of year.  I had fun using my awesome Close To My Heart alcohol markers to color this card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2").  I love how beautifully they blend.  Doesn't that just look like an apple you want to take a big bite out of right now?

I made the card at the top of the post using the Dream Pop papers with a few little extras added:  Slate Polka Dot Washi Tape, Pixie Glitter Alphabet, Trinkets Wooden Shapes, Pink Glitter Gems  and Silver Shimmer Trim.  Can you tell I love sparkly bling with this paper? This card was inspired by one that was made by the Close To My Heart Art Department. I just put my own little spin on things.

May Play Group Scrappin' Class Layouts (Surf's Up!)

Aloha!  Here are the three 2-page 12" x 12" layouts we will be making in my Play Group classes in May (click on any photo to see it larger and in more detail). If you would like to participate, please contact me (801.360.9896, pedermom@aol.com) with your kit order no later than FRIDAY, MAY 31. 

Forgive me for not having photos on the layouts. Believe it or not, I actually do. I even photographed them with photos on them but those photos are stuck in never, never land right now. I just got a new computer and am having a heck of a time transferring everything.  Those photos are in limbo between computers right now. Hang in there! I'll post them when I get things all figured out. Luckily I do have the photos of the layouts without photos to share.

You can participate in my Play Group classes in one of three ways:

1.  Attend a class in person (if you plan to do this, I need your order right away)
