Spooktacular Special For Halloween and a Christmas Card!

Have I got a SPOOKTACULAR deal for you!  For every $50 you order on October 31 (Halloween), I will send you a set of 3 Christmas cards, handstamped by me for YOU. Order $50 and get 3, order $100 and get 6, and so on!   That sounds like a Holly Jolly Halloween to me!  What busy Mummy or Grand-Mummy couldn’t use some already made, beautifully hand-stamped cards?  !   You can call me directly {801.360.9896}, email me {pedermom@aol.com}, or place your order on my website {www.leavealegacy.ctmh.com}.

There are no tricks involved here...just treats!  I’ll look forward to hearing from you on Halloween!

7"x5" card

Speaking of Christmas cards, here is one I made with this month's Stamp of the Month (Scandinavian Wishes). Who knows, it might be one of the 3 (or 6, or 9, etc) you receive if you take advantage of my Spooktacular special!  I had fun creating this card using non-traditional Christmas colors (Slate, Smoothie, Lagoon and Colonial White).   For every $50 you spend in October, you can get one of these for only $5 ($17.95 value). Yep, that means if you take advantage of my Spooktacular Special on October 31, you ca ALSO get this darling set for only $5!

Have a great day! Remember, you can shop on my website 24/7...even when it's not Halloween!

2 Simple Christmas Cards Made with the Scandinavian Wishes Stamp Set

4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Scandinavian Wishes Holiday Cards

Hello!  If you go by what you see in the stores, Christmas must be right around the corner. Right?  Well, there ARE 2 months left to prepare but the cool thing about getting going on Christmas right now is that there is not nearly as much rush when Christmas time REALLY arrives. For that reason, I'm glad that this month's Stamp of the Month is one that allows us to be organized and get ahead for the holiday season. Scandinavian Wishes is a holiday themed set with a touch of Scandinavia. Beautiful!

You can get one of these sets for only $5 with every $50 you spend (before shipping and tax).

Here are some of the great products (with links to my website to purchase them if you'd like) I used to create these  quick and simple cards.

November Play Group Scrappin' Class Layouts (ProPlayer)

Hello, my awesome blog followers!  What a whirlwind this past week has been!
  • A friend came in from out of town to spend a couple of days with me
  • I spent 3 days at the Close To My Heart Album Retreat
  • Dan went hunting
  • We had a family football party to watch Easton's game
  • I hurt my back (boo!) and have been down flat for a few days
  • Plus the other normal home, family and church things
I am back and bloggin'! If I haven't commented  on your blogs, I apologize. I'm back in action though!

Today I am sharing the beautiful layouts we will be making in my November Play Group Scrappin' classes with the bold and masculine ProPlayer papers.  As you can see, I have used these layouts for sports themed photos, but the MyStickease are also full of gaming and x-game type stickers. You could also use them for just about anything!  I love that although CTMH creates collections that can lean toward a theme, they also do it in a way that you can turn a themed kit into something really usable for all kinds of other photos. Cool beans!

You can attend my classes in person or participate long-distance. WOO HOO!  If you want to attend a class and participate in person, I need your order no later than Tuesday, October 29. If you are participating long-distance, you have a couple of weeks to get your orders to me.   (801.360.9896, pedermom@aol.com) THANKS!  If you are participating long-distance, just add $5 to your kit total.  I'm confident you will enjoy what we do and be very happy with the projects you make!

Dates and Times in November to choose from:
Thursday evening, November 7 from 7-10 pm in Pleasant Grove, UT
Friday morning, November 8 from 10 am - 1 pm in American Fork, UT

After the layout photos, you'll find the shopping list. In order to participate you are only required to purchase the Basic Kit, but you are more than welcome to purchase the Better or Best, or add a few of those items to your Basic Kit.  Remember that old Burger King commercial..."Have it Your Way"?  I think I'll adopt that motto!

Feel free to click on any image to see it larger and in more detail.  For each layout I have included the layout with photos, without photos, and some detail shots.

Layout #1: Just Hanging Out

Layout #2: In the Zone

Layout #3:  Game On

Shopping List: Reminder:  To attend or participate in a class, all you are required to purchase is the Basic Kit.  If you want to purchase the Better or Best Kits, or even pick and choose a few items from those to add to your Basic Kit, you are welcome to, but it is not required.  If you are participating long distance, add $5 to your total. If you want me to cut your packet for you, add $5 to the total.  If you want both long-distance AND to have me cut, add $10.

Basic Kit (this is all that you are required to purchase to participate)

Holiday Gift Guide Artwork Blog Hop - Christmas Projects

Welcome to our Holiday Gift Guide Blog Hop! We are thrilled to introduce you to the BRAND NEW products from our Close To my Heart Holiday Gift Guide, available October 15-December 31 (or while supplies last). I am very honored to have been invited to be part of this hop because as you'll see as you hop from one blog to another, this little hop is full of great artists!  If you have come here from the fabulous Brenda Rose's Blog (I'm also VERY proud to say that she is one of my downline), you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

It's super simple to hop along with us. Just click on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one.

Here we go....

For my projects, I decided to make a set of items that use the Christmas tree from the cute "Trim the Tree" (only $6.95) stamp set. I also love that we have coordinating Sparkle Holiday Shapes that add the perfect extra bit of sparkle to your projects. I chose to create a border with the tree by alternating it in a line right side  up, then upside down.  I did that with my Slate Stamp Pad and then added one tree in a pop of color (either Ruby or Juniper).  I also created the background paper on these projects by using the "Holiday Cheer" stamp from the Season's Tweetings Gift Bag Kit (this kit includes the stamp set, 6 fabric gift bags and 9 die cut tags for only $14.95!). All of the stars on the trees were stamped with Honey ink. I have included complete supply lists for each of the projects following the photos, including links right to the products on my website for your convenience.

You can purchase any of these projects on my website.  You can also view the Holiday Gift Guide page by delicious page here.  Don't forget that for every $100 order (from the Gift Guide, the current Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book, or a combination of the two), you get to choose one of the products in the gift guide with a star next to it FREE! Cool beans!

Ruby Tree Card (5 1/2" x 4 1/4")

Juniper Tree Card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"):

12" x 12" One Page Layout:  Sour Cream Sugar Cookies (this will go in a family recipe scrapbook I've been working on.  I've even included a detail close-up shot of the recipe for the cookies and frosting for you to use yourselves!):
