Is it cold where you are? Here in Utah it certainly is. Baby, it's cold outside! I remember the days as a child when I was so excited when it snowed and I could bundle up and head outside to build a snowman, make snow angels, and have a good, old-fashioned snowball fight. Now, I admit, the only things that gives me a ton of joy when it snows are: 1. If I can watch our grandkids experience the childlike joy of snow, 2. If I can stay inside our warm home and observe the beauty of the soft, downy flakes from where I'm warm and cozy, and 3. if it's Christmas time. I guess I'm just a big, huge snow bah humbug. That said, I do LOVE snow pictures. I love how the people stand out against the clean, pristine white snowy background. Being the scrapbook fanatic that I am, I might be apt to go outside and ACT like I love the snow just for the photos. lol.
With snow (and all of the positives about it...ha!) in mind, here are the
layouts we will be making in my January Play Group Scrappin' Classes
using Scandinavian themed Snowhaven papers from
Close To My Heart. You can participate in person
or long-distance. If you want to attend a class and participate in
person, I need your order no later than December 10. If you are participating long-distance, you have until December 20 to get your orders to me. (801.360.9896, pedermom@aol.com). Long distance orders will be shipped by the end of the first week of January.
Dates and Times in December to choose from to attend in person:
- Thursday evening, January 8 from 7-10 pm in Pleasant Grove, UT
- Friday morning, January 9 from 10 am - 1 pm in American Fork, UT
After
the layout photos, you'll find the shopping list. In order to
participate you are only required to purchase the Basic Kit, but you are
more than welcome to purchase the Better or Best, or add a few of those
items to your Basic Kit. You'll see kit totals along with the shopping
list.

without photos, and some detail shots. You might also notice that on the
layouts without the photos I have listed the size of each mat for your
convenience in choosing and cropping your photos.
