Good News and Bad News
I've got good news and bad news...
How about the bad news first. Let's get that over with. Springville had 8 (no, that is not a type-o. I said 8) turnovers last night that led to their 37-6 (sad!) loss to Maple Mountain. It was a sad thing.
Good news: Dawson (strong safety) played great. It was fun to open the newspaper this morning and see this:
"Despite the lopsided score, there was some solid defense on the Springville side, particularly in the second half. The efforts of Caleb McCray, John Tupou and Dawson Pedersen were especially noteworthy."
We are off to Cedar City this morning to watch our son, Easton (receiver) and the Southern Utah University T-Birds take on Sacramento State (who stunned Oregon State last week). Go E! Go T-Birds!

Ouch! So not fun to watch. You gotta feel sorry for those boys. Kudos to the defense for keeping it from being worse than it was. Way to go Dawson! Good luck to the T-Birds!
Hope Easton plays well, but *ahem* that's my Sac State team!
Too bad about the loss, but how wonderful that the talents of your boy were noticed!
