A Pocket Card, a FREE Cricut Collection and a Family Easter

Where did a whole week go since my last post? I'm not kidding. This past week was a whirlwind.  Between having family come in for Easter (which was heavenly) and having our kitchen ceiling cave in from a gigantic leak (and yes, the next few weeks are going to be spent tearing out walls and ceilings and putting in new ones), I didn't even realize that I had let a whole week pass by.

Today I'll be sharing another fun Stamp of the Month card (#1 below), reminding you about the OUT OF THIS WORLD special this month with Close To My Heart (#2 below),  and ending with some photos from the past week (#3 below...just to prove I wasn't kidding above!).

1. Stamp of the Month Pocket Card: I made this card using the CTMH/Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge (it cut the pocket card, the gears) and the CTMH/Cricut Artiste Cartridge (cut out the "Hello" image from the April Stamp of the Month) and the April Stamp of the Month.  Be sure to check out #2 below to find out how to get one of these cartridges FREE this month.

Anyway, back to the card.  When you spend $50, you get this darling stamp set (only available in April) for $5 ($17.95 value).  If you are ordering on my website, you'll get a little prompt to add one of these sets before you check out.  Spend $50 and get 1 for $5, spend $100 and get 2 for $5 each, and so on.

I have included a supplies used list with links at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Here's a detail shot of the pocket card as well as a picture of the Stamp of the Month set. Cuteness!

2.   FREE CTMH/Cricut Collection:  When you sign up to be a Consultant with Close To My Heart in April, you get your choice of one of our three Cricut Collections ($99 value) absolutely FREE!  The cost to be a New Consultant is $99 and you get over $309 in products in your kit.  Math might not be my forte, but it's not too hard to do the addition here:

New Consultant Kit is $99 ($309 in products)
+ Cricut Cartridge is FREE ($99 value)
= $408 in products for only $99

Quick explanation of our 3 Cricut Collections to help you make your decisions:

A.  The Art Philosophy Cartridge has loads of cards, basic shapes, and a nice font. If you don't already have a CTMH/Cricut Collection, I would recommend getting this one since it's so versatile. Here's a link to the online handbook so you can see exactly what's on it:

B.  The Artiste Cartridge has lots of 3-D objects and holiday related items. It also has a nice font. Here's a link to the online handbook so you can see exactly what's on it: http://cdn.closetomyheart.com/global/oba/docs/products/Cricut_Artiste_Shape_Index.pdf

C.  The Artbooking Cartridge is mainly for scrapbooking layouts and mini-albums, although you can use it in many other ways. It also has a nice font. Here's a link to the online handbook so you can see exactly what's on it: http://cdn.closetomyheart.com/global/oba/docs/products/Cricut_Artbooking_Shape_Index.pdf

Be sure and take a look at the handbooks of the 3 cartridges on the links above and see which one you like best. A lot of it will depend on what types of projects you like to do.

Close To My Heart has a good write up about the different cartridges which you can see here: http://leavealegacy.ctmh.com/ctmh/products/cricut-collections.aspx

3.  This past week in photos:  Between our ceiling caving in, spending time with plumbers and disaster contractors, preparing for Easter, spending time doing my church job, this past week flew!  Here is a little photo recap of this past week at the Pedersens. Crazy and fun (all except for the hole in the ceiling).
Yes, this really did happen. The plumber was even amazed!

Easter place setting
All of the family (except, of course, Dawson who is on his 2 year church mission in Australia) was here! It was heavenly!

Daci was so excited about my "popcorn tree"
