It's time to unveil the lovely layouts we will be making in my May Play Group Scrappin' Classes using the rich and rugged Timberline papers from Close To My Heart. You can participate in person or long-distance. If you want to attend a class and participate in person, I need your order no later than May 1. If you are participating long-distance, you have until May 10 to get your orders to me. (801.360.9896, pedermom@aol.com)
The Timberline papers are so versatile that you really could use them for just about anything. The plaids, woodgrains and houndstooth patterns lend themselves to so many things. At first glance they feel very manly and rugged, but the cool news is that even though many of the B&T (patterned) papers have that masculine, outdoorsy feel, the other side can lend itself to something totally different. Although I chose to use these papers for hunting layouts, you could certainly change them up for boy layouts, playing in the dirt, family photos, camping, fishing, sports, Autumn and so much more.
Dates and Times in April to choose from to attend in person:
Thursday evening, May 8 from 7-10 pm in Pleasant Grove, UT
Friday morning, May 9 from 10 am - 1 pm in American Fork, UT
After the layout photos, you'll find the shopping list. In order to participate you are only required to purchase the Basic Kit, but you are more than welcome to purchase the Better or Best, or add a few of those items to your Basic Kit. You'll see kit totals along with the shopping list.
Feel free to click on any image to see it larger and in more detail. For each layout I have included the layout with photos, without photos, and some detail shots. You might also notice that on the layouts without the photos I have listed the size of each mat for your convenience in choosing and cropping your photos.

For some reason, some of you blog wording looks like a different language (characters, not letters). Hey, your layouts turned out awesome! I am hosting my workshop this Sunday and even have my layouts at the top of my blog right now. I love how you added chevron ribbon and durable studs to your's. Cute!
