Come Fly with Me!

Today it feels as if I have done nothing but fly from one place to another; from home to football camp at Brigham Young University (30 minute drive), to grab some lunch, back home for a meeting, back to BYU for more football camp, back home for dinner and crashed. Craziness. My house looks like a tornado went through it.

Since I haven't had time to make any fun artwork today (nor do laundry, dishes, make a bed, or even pick up the newspaper from the driveway), I thought with all of my 'flying' I should share this....a present I made for my son-in-law Rick a couple of years ago. He is an airplane enthusiast (or would that be fanatic?). My dear friend, Tracey had attended an air show in Ohio and taken some amazing photos (she rocks the camera). She generously made a cd of her pics for me to give to Rick. What you see here is a cd cover I decorated to give it to him in.

By the way, please don't think I am complaining. Even though I am exhausted, it's a good exhausted that comes from being part of my children's lives and being involved with the ladies at my church organization. I wouldn't trade these experiences for anything! I just wish I had more energy. But that is a whole other subject...

All supplies are Close To My Heart. Thanks for looking!

It's so nice to see that paper used in that way! This is a great CD cover, Karen, and I'm sure a priceless gift for Rick.

Hi Karen!
It's good to know that I am not the only mother out there who feels like she is always "flying" from place to place! I,too, love being a part of my childrens' lives and it is so nice to see that even though your children are much older than mine, you can still be a part in their lives. It reassures me, as my children seem to be growing right before my eyes, that I still have lots to look forward to...and lots more flying to do!
Thanks for the inspiration!
SMiles,
Amy
