Both photos are of Dan's babies. I'm pretty sure (OK, I'm positive) that if he had to choose he would choose the real live baby, our granddaughter, Daci. But he sure does love those tomato babies too. He started them from seeds and has babied them with special tomato food, heating pads, a spot by the window in the sunlight, trips outside for an hour or two when it's warm and lots of tender loving care. I can't wait to see how our tomato crop turns out this year. It will be fun to compare their growth in August with the growth of our little Daci.
