Wishes and Lollipops

I just LOVE Close To My Heart's new card making how-to book, Wishes. I played today and made 4 cards in about an hour (OK, so I made the lollipop flowers yesterday). By the way, if you are interested in making Lollipop Roses, just scroll down the left side of my blog until you get to "labels" and then click on "Lollipop Roses". It will take you to a post from April that includes a written tutorial.

You can always click on any photo in my posts to see a larger view.

Cards from left to right:
  • 5" x 7" card using the "Medallion" pattern on page 52 of Wishes.
  • 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card using the "On the Edge" pattern on page 53 of Wishes.
  • 4 1/2" Circle card using the "Inner Court" pattern on page 67 of Wishes.
  • 8" x 3 1/2" card using the "Sunrise" pattern on page 59 of Wishes (slightly altered).
I just love this book and all of the great tips, patterns and step-by-step instructions included. You can easily order the book with order #9033 on my website.

Oh this has to be my favorite post EVER...these are so beautiful!! It's so funny because just yesterday I was looking through Paper Crafts mag and came across a flower that looked something like this but that was store bought. I thought to myself, "I'd love to try to paper craft something like that." Then I log on to your blog and low and behold...viola! You've done it for me. LOVE IT!!!!!
