Notecard Box, Cards, Matching Envelopes and Pen Workshop

How stinkin' cute is this box and cards, envelopes and pen designed by my talented friend, Lisa Stenz?  I already know the answer:  CA-UTER than CA-UTE!  Lisa kindly shared it with me and gave me permission to hold this class with my customers. You rock, Lisa!

This workshop is a "Double Your Fun" workshop, which means one workshop kit makes two boxes.  This is double your pleasure for several reasons:

• You can make 2 boxes and keep one and give one away as a gift
• You can split the cost of the workshop with a friend and each of you make one box. If you and/or the friend you sign up with is someone I have never met, you will each get an extra gift from me.
  
• With Mother's Day and the end of the school year coming up, these make GREAT mother or teacher appreciation gifts. In that case, you may need both boxes to give away.

Finished workshop includes 2 projects of (see above photo):

You can participate in this class one of three ways:

1. Attend a class in person:  Class dates and times to choose from: Thurs,  April 26, 7-10 pm or Friday, April 27, 10 am - 1 pm. Both classes are in American Fork, UT. Sign up deadline to attend in person is Friday, April 20.
2. Participate Long-Distance: I will send you a kit with instructions.  Add $5 to the kit cost for me to ship the kit to you.  I will cut out your Cricut images and stamp your items for you. You'll just have to put it together.
3. Host this class in your home for several of your friends:  I am happy to come to your home and do this class for you and your friends. I will travel to Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Sanpete counties.

Spring/Summer Double-Sided Banner Workshop

I'm so excited about this workshop! I think you'll LOVE it. It uses one of my favorite products from the brand new Close To My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book: the "My Creations Banner".

This darling banner (feel free to click on either photo to see them larger and in more detail) can be used for 6 months per year because on one side is says "Spring" and the other it says "Summer" (as you can see in the photos).

This workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15 at my home in Highland, UT. There are 2 time slots to choose from:

• 10 am - 1 pm
• 7-10 pm

You can also participate in this workshop long distance. To do so, just add $5 to the shopping list prices you see below and I will send your workshop to you (as well as stamping your letters).

This workshop is another in my "Double Your Fun" series. What that means is that when you purchase a workshop, you get everything you need to complete 2 full banners. You can make 2 yourself and keep one and give one away as a gift, or you can split the workshop cost with a friend and then each of you will get a banner to take home. Pretty Cool!

Each banner piece is approximate 6" across and 7" long. That means, it stretches over a yard in length when finished and put together. It is PERFECT to hang across the front of a mantle, an entry way, a door way, across the top of a window, etc.

To attend (or participate long-distance) all you are required to purchase is the Basic Kit. One item that is in the Better Kit that I think really makes a difference in the project is the Ribbon. You are more than welcome to add that to the Basic Kit without having to purchase the whole Better Kit if you'd like. If you are participating long-distance, I strongly suggest you purchase the Better Kit.

"What?" you ask. "Mother's Day isn't until MAY, silly Karen!"

"Puh-lease!" I say. "I am not as silly as you think! I am just planning ahead and helping YOU do the same."

Here it is! The post you've been waiting for, and for almost a week I might add! Sorry! I meant to only make you wait 3 or 4 days and then the week slipped away from me.

The good news is that I have been taking pics like crazy of all of the activities that have kept me away from the computer so I have lots of good bloggin' material for the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
