Four FREE Stamp Sets and My Fun Week

I'm back from my business trip and happy to be back home with Dan-the-Man and Dawson.  As much fun as I had, there is still no place like home!   I wanted to make sure that you knew how you can get 4 FREE STAMP SETS  in April. Together they are valued at $71.80!  I'll tell you about that in a second, but first I'll share a bit of what I've been doing this week.  It's been a great week.

While down in St. George on business this past Monday-Thursday, I stayed with Easton and Daysha. In the evenings when I got home, we had fun building their crib and getting a few things bought for their first little one (and our 4th grandchild) who is due in July. We are so excited and the nursery is so cute! They are doing all white furniture and decorating in hot pink and orange accents and bedding.  DARLING!  Oh, and I'm pretty sure with the pink you guessed it's a girl.

Easton and Daysha also introduced me to something VERY naughty!  These Cadbury Ice Cream Bars were TO. DIE. FOR.  I like ice cream bars like this but like them best when the chocolate is more of a hard shell and really crunchy. These are the crunchiest I've found. YUM!  I hope they don't carry them in any of the stores in Springville or it could get ugly!

I also got to spend some time with Tannon.  This kid never fails to make me laugh.  He tore a ligament in his ankle last week at football practice and he's out for a while. I know he's sad and discouraged, but he has the best attitude about things like that.  He just doesn't let it get him down.  He and Michelle got their engagement pictures taken a few days (can't BELIEVE the wedding is in less than 2 months!) before I got there and I think they turned out so pretty!  Here's one for your viewing pleasure:

Now on to the 4 FREE STAMP SETS THING.... if you sign up to be a Close To My Heart Consultant in April for only $49 (and the kit has over $155 in products), you also get the May, June, July and August Stamp of the Month sets ($17.95 value each for a total value of $71.80). That's a total of $226.80 in products for only $49. Plus, when you are a consultant you get an awesome discount on our products, as well as a great business opportunity!  I'd LOVE to have you join my team this month!  To join, go here.  Feel free to call or email me with any questions you may have (801.360.9896, pedermom@aol.com).

Buzz & Bumble Layouts WITH Photos

Remember a while back when I shared the Buzz & Bumble layouts we are making in my April Play Group classes? Remember how they didn't have any photos on them? Remember how I promised I would put photos on them and then share?  I remembered!  Here they are, finished as promised!

Layout #1 is at the top of this post.  I used it to highlight some photos of our little granddaughter, Daci's recent 4th birthday party.  I wasn't sure how I would feel about the bright colors of the photos on the more subdued tones of these pages, but I really like it. I think they pop (good thing I proofed this post. That originally said, "poop." Oh dear!)!  Here's the journaling for that layout:
------------------

This little puppy is Layout #2. I had fun adding photos of Tannon's proposal to the beautiful (looks like Princess Kate), Michelle.
 and the journaling....
----------------

This gem is Layout #3. I used this to celebrate some of the friendships that I am so blessed to have through my Close To My Heart business.
 and the journaling....
 ----------------

It feels good to keep promises, AND to get more of my favorite photos scrapbooked!   I hope you enjoyed these pages with the photos added. If you missed the original post, you can view it here. Also, you can shop for Buzz and Bumble products on my website, 24/7.

Chantilly "You Make Me Smile" Card

As you can tell, I have had fun creating with the Chantilly papers.  I am a huge lover of pink and green, then on top of that Close To My Heart added paisley to the mix. Be still my heart!  I've been gettin' my Chantilly on!  In fact, maybe I need to dedicate this card to Chantilly.  Chantilly, "you make me smile!"

I had lots of fun with embossing on this card. I not only embossed the sentiment, but also embossed on two of my wooden flowers after I used my Round Sponge to sponge them with color from the Cotton Candy Stamp Pad.   You can see a bit more detail by looking at this photo...

I really love the White Daisy Die-Cut Cards and Envelope sets.  I used one of the cards for the base of this one.  In fact, I have to say that every single piece of paper and accessory item that I used on this card "made me smile." I am so happy that Close To My Heart carries so many fun papers, colors, accessories and bling!  The whole product list is below.

Close To My Heart products used:  Hooray Bouquet Stamp Set, Love Doily Stamp Set (I actually used a retired set for the doily look on the large wooden flower, but this set would have worked great as well), White Daisy Die Cut Cards and Envelopes, Chantilly Papers, Versamark Pad, White Daisy Embossing Powder, Cotton Candy Pad, Round Sponge, Garden Wooden Shapes, Pink Button Assortment, Basic Button Assortment, Chantilly Assortment.

I love the sentiment on this card. "You Make Me Smile" can be used for so many occassions. And, it comes in a set of wonderful flowers and a few other sentiments. I think this "Hooray Bouquet" stamp set is a must have. Not only is it darling, but those flowers coordinate with our CTMH/Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge. Neato Cheeto!

Do you know what else "makes me smile?"  These two.....

Tannon and Michelle spent the day yesterday at a wedding expo getting ideas for their wedding and entering every prize drawing there. They are just certain they are going to win every drawing and get their photography, cake, flowers, and honeymoon for free.  Ha!

You can shop for these (except for Tannon and Michelle....they are mine and not for sale, at least not today), and so many other scrumptious products on my website 24/7.

Tannon Gets Engaged and Senior Night

Yesterday was a day that will live in Pedersen infamy.

Tannon got engaged and Dawson played his last home basketball game of his high school career (good thing we still have the state playoffs to look forward to watching him play in next week).

Let's talk about the engagement first:
Tannon lives 3 hours away in Cedar City, UT. His beautiful girlfriend (now fiance'e), Michelle lives up here. Tannon surprised her yesterday by sneaking up, decorating her house with rose petals leading from the front door to her bedroom, setting up a "Will U Marry Me?" in tea candles on her bedroom floor and lighting them, and then waiting on one knee until she came home from work for the surprise. I was excited that Tannon involved me and Michelle's mom. We helped set everything up. Michelle's best buddy helped make sure that she got home at just the right time.  Tannon popped the question, Michelle said, "Yes" and the rest is history!

"Will You Marry Me?"

She said, "Yes!"

So in love!

Michelle's mom, Jeanine and best friend, Janessa. They were also in on the surprise

All dressed up for a fancy dinner after the proposal.
Dinner.

It was so much fun to be a part of this big surprise. Dan-the-Man was on the phone with me the second it was all done wanting to hear every detail.  I don't think Tannon or Michelle could have hoped for a more perfect proposal.  Congrats, you two.  Now to prepare for a June wedding!

After all of the proposal excitement we all headed to Dawson's last home basketball game of his high school career. We are so sad to see this come to an end. Luckily we will be playing in the state tourney next week. Hopefully we'll still have several more games (that means WIN, Mighty Red Devils).  It was Senior night at the game. I tried not to cry as we walked out on center court to be recognized. My baby is all "growed up!" We finished our regular season with a record of 17-4, ranked #6 in the state going into the tourney.  Go, Devils!

Have a great day!  I'm off to teach a scrapbook class this evening. I love my job!

My VERY Fun Weekend at Team Builders

Close To My Heart ROCKS! I know I say that all the time, and guess what: I MEAN it all the time.

I just spent the last several days at a wonderful conference called Team Builders. CTMH invited their leaders to come and give input and provide perspective as they proposed changes and enhancements in policies and procedures to make CTMH an even BETTER place to be. How awesome is that?

In addition to proposal meetings, Q&A sessions, business classes, and updates from the Executive Team of the company, we also did some creating, some serious eating and had some even more serious fun!

The first two photos here are of a beautiful clip pin that the CTMH Art Studio created for me. They actually created one for each of the 60 consultants there. Each pin was one-of-a-kind. I am so excited to pin in on a lapel, on a necklace, a hat, and so many other things. Stinkin' cute!:

Here I am with two of my amazing Director downline, Pam on the left and Lynette in the middle. These two ladies are more than downline, they are dear friends that I love with all my heart!------------------
Here are two more cute friends: Monica and Jody. Monica is pregnant with #7 (I know! Unbelievable, right?). Jody is one of my 'forever roomies'.----------------

Another of my 'forever roomies,' beautiful Michelle with sweet Tracy

Thanks to my 'forever roomies', Jody and Michelle for making my stay as wonderful as every event I spend with them. Thanks to my two Director downline, Pam and Lynette for sharing this event with me and for being the awesome leaders that you are. Thanks to all of my CTMH friends, that are really my CTMH family for being so amazing. Thanks to CTMH (especially Jeanette!) for spoiling us rotten. Believe it or not, they didn't even charge a registration fee for this event. It was so important to them that the leaders were there to brainstorm and take part that they not only didn't charge a registration fee, but they showered us with free gifts and meals. We even had a private dinner at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building with delicious food and a breath-taking view of the Salt Lake LDS Temple (see top photo for the group of ladies at my dinner table, and a few of the smaller photos below for the view). Unbelievable!
