How about the papers on this awesome layout?  Aren't they spectacular?  When I saw the "Jack" Paper Packet and matching Complements in our new mini-catalog (Expressions 2), I knew they would be perfect for photos of boys, and I was right (I love it when I'm right! 😉O). Don't these photos of our grandson, Street look amazing on this paper?

Here are a few detail shots:

Now, let's talk about this awesome Paper Packet and matching Complements.

Snow Layout

We have had snow here in American Fork, UT every day for the past 6 days. It's been crazy, but so beautiful. I thought in honor of all of this snow, it would be a good time to share this little layout I whipped up of our grandson, Street, out playing in it.  This layout was based on a design from my friend, Beckie Lehman. I love it! Beautiful design, Beckie!

You might look at this layout and think it took a whole lot of paper packs. If you thought that,  you were wrong. YAY! Here's a case where being wrong was a GOOD thing.  This layout has White Daisy Cardstock and the Adventure Fundamentals Paper Pack, and that's the only paper I used! COOL BEANS!  Our Fundamentals paper packs have many colors and designs in each pack.

I think you're going to be surprised how few products were used to create this gorgeous 2-page spread. The Good Life Fundamental Complements Collection that I used for almost all of the accents is full of brightly colored stickers and glittery chipboard accents that look just perfect with the Adventure Fundamentals papers. The only other accents I used on these pages are Gold Shimmer Trim and Gold Sequins.

Here are a few close ups of some of the details on this layout:
Don't you just love all of the sparkly accents? I think they are perfect with the white, sparkly snow. I love how the bright green picks up the cuff of Streets coat, the bright blue picks up his hat, and the orange is just a fun accent to pull it all together. There are such fun, bright colors in the Adventure color palette.

Easter Layout with the May Stamp of the Month

May Stamp of the Month 1-page layout by Karen Pedersen

I hope all of you mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. Mine was just about perfect.  The only thing missing was our Minnesota kids.  Our son, Easton, his wife, Daysha, and their little girl, Sage got into the action on Facetime though and I can't complain.  We got to skype with our missionary, Dawson (who we haven't seen in 2 years, and who will be home in less than a month) and that was heavenly.  Kori, Rick and their kidlets (Daci, Livvi and Street) were here all day and Tannon and his wife, Brookley were here for quite a while too.  For me, the best part of Mother's Day is spending it with the kids that made me a mommy.

Now, let's talk about the wonderful little May Stamp of the Month ("Just Sayin'").

The Just Sayin' set is available in May only, and is $5 ($12.95 savings) when you spend $50 (before shipping and tax).  Spend $100, get two...and so on.  When ordering on my website, you'll be prompted to add your set(s) before you check out.

I shared cards I made with the Just Sayin' set here and here.  Today I'm sharing a one-page layout.  I love the story behind this layout.  I made sure to journal it right on the page.  I am a BIG believer that the memory behind the photos is just as important as the photos themselves.
