Last Day to Get "Special Care"

5" x 3" card using the December Stamp of the Month (Special Care)

It's December 31. The past couple of weeks have been a blur for me as I've celebrated the holidays with my family. I'm sure yours have been just as busy...and as a result, maybe you have let December slip away without even realizing it, just as I have.

Because today is the last day of the month, it also means that today is the LAST DAY to get "Special Care." Did I scare ya?  No worries!  I will always give you special care as my valued customers, but the December Stamp of the Month, called "Special Care" is only available through today.  It's your for only $5 ($17.95 value) with a $50 order. To place your order, just head to my website:  www.leavealegacy.ctmh.com and start shopping. You'll be prompted to add this stinkin' cute set at the end of your order.

December Stamp of the Month: Special Care

I have seen this cute set used in lots of fun ways.
  • I love the "Warning!  Hugs and Kisses Required" sentiment for anything Valentines-y.
  • I created a layout (see below) of our granddaughter, Daci covered in 'goo' while eating a frosted cookie. Don't we ALL have photos like this of our kids/grandkids that would work great with this set?
  • A friend of mine had a great idea and created tags with these and attached them to gifts of beautiful soaps and bath fizzies.
  • What about attaching a tag to a bottle of fancy fabric softener and giving it as a gift? I've seen some of the prettiest bottles of things like that in specialty shops.
There are so many fun possibilities for this set and I want to make sure you don't miss out if you are interested.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Behind the Scenes - Family Pictures

We had family photos taken on Monday.  I can hardly wait the 2 weeks to see them!  In the meantime, we had our phones and cameras there too and took a few behind the scenes photos  (with our awesome photographer, Kelli Haub's permission).  I thought I'd share a few with you. I promise to share the real deals when we get them back.

It was ffffffreezing cold (about 25 degrees) but we 'braved' the weather for some cool pics! Please don't turn us into Child/Family Services for freezing the children (tee hee)!  You won't see any candids of us all together because, well....we were all busy posing and Kelli was taking the real pics.  If you are worried about what we did since Dawson is serving a 2 year mission in Australia, never fear! We held up a pic of Dawson in our large group shot.  Where there's a will, there's a way! He was with us in spirit. *wink*

Our photographer is the one on the left with the cute red hair (Kelli).  Brookley (Tannon's fiance) was snapping a few too.

Is your family like mine? The girls are all excited about pics, and the boys...well, the boys are NOT so excited.  It always makes for laughs!

Hugs and Kisses Required Valentine Card

Here's another card (3 1/2" x 4 1/2") I put together using the cuter than cute December Stamp of the Month (Special Care).  I thought this little quick and simple little card would be perfect to add to a bag of Hershey's Hugs and Kisses for Valentine's Day (in fact I think I'll do that for my grandkiddos!). I'm picturing it now...a darling glass jar full of hugs and kisses with a huge brown and white striped bow tied on the top and this card with a hole punched in the upper left corner, and tied on with some twine.  Simply perfect!

This set is yours for only $5 ($17.95 value) with each $50 yo spend (before shipping and handling). You'll be prompted to add it to your order before you check out.  Head on over to my website to order!  While you are there, be sure to check out the items that are retiring the end of January (or while supplies last if they run out sooner).  You can see a link to the list on the "shop" page at the bottom of the list of categories on the left called "Retiring Items". I'd hate for you to miss out on anything you really want.

Here is a list of products used and their links on my site.  Have fun shoppin'!

January Play Group Scrappin' Class Layouts (Sarita)

It's time to unveil the beautiful pages we will be making in my January Play Group Scrappin' Classes using the fun and funky (and maybe even a little bit retro) Sarita papers from Close To My Heart. You can participate in person or long-distance.  If you want to attend a class and participate in person, I need your order no later than Tuesday, December 31. If you are participating long-distance, you have until January 10 to get your orders to me.   (801.360.9896, pedermom@aol.com)

The Sarita papers are so versatile that you really could use these layouts for just about anything.  I had fun using them for photos of our son, Tannon proposing to his fiance, Brookley, and for pics of our grandkids.

Dates and Times in January  to choose from to attend in person:
Thursday evening, January 9 from 7-10 pm in Pleasant Grove, UT
Friday morning, January 10 from 10 am - 1 pm in American Fork, UT

After the layout photos, you'll find the shopping list. In order to participate you are only required to purchase the Basic Kit, but you are more than welcome to purchase the Better or Best, or add a few of those items to your Basic Kit.  You'll see kit totals along with the shopping list.

Feel free to click on any image to see it larger and in more detail.  For each layout I have included the layout with photos, without photos, and some detail shots. You might also notice that on the layouts without the photos I have listed the size of each mat for your convenience in choosing and cropping your photos.
