Beach Layout with August Stamp of the Month

When Daysha sent me these photos from her and Sage's trip to Hawaii a couple of months ago, I died on the spot. How beautiful are they?  They deserved a layout just as beautiful to freeze the memory in time (that's why we scrapbook, right?).  I hope I came through with this one!

I used the August Stamp of the Month (Framed), as well as the Documenting Moments stamp set (it's a MUST have!).   The August Stamp of the Month (below) is only $5 ($12.95 savings) with every $50 you spend (before shipping and tax). Spend $100, get 2...and so on.  When ordering on my website, you'll be prompted to add your set(s) before you check out. Easy, peasy!

August Stamp of the Month - Framed

Documenting Moments stamp set

The title I just hand-lettered with a journaling pen. I created the watercolor background by first wetting my paper a bit, then mixing reinkers (I used Pixie, Canary and Smoothie) with water and using a large paintbrush, just lightly going side to side. I love the effect!

I embossed the frames from the August Stamp of the Month in gold and then just stamped the words in black. I cut them out and popped them up with 3D foam tape for dimension. I added some gold accents with our Gold Sequins and our Gold Polka Dotted Washi Tape (retiring August 31...get it while you can!).  I've included a supply list at the bottom of this post, complete with links and photos, for your convenience.

Happy birthday to this wonderful daughter-in-law! We couldn't have hand-picked a better wife for our Easton.  We love you, Daysha!

Girly Girls Layout and FREE Stamps

I love this month's Stamp of the Month. I had fun using it to create this one-pager featuring Daysha and Sage. I thought the feel of the stems tied in beautifully with the vines in the background of the photo.

As always, the Stamp of the Month is only $5 ($12.95 savings) with every $50 you spend (before shipping and tax). Spend $100 and you qualify for two, and so on.  You can order yours on my website 24/7 during the month of February. You'll be prompted to add your set(s) before you check out.

Be sure to check out this month's Album Allure special here.  Also, if you spend $50 or more (before shipping and tax) on my website between Feb. 7 and 13, you also get a FREE stamp set from me (see details and instructions in my last post on Feb. 6). What a deal!
