Love Card with Instructions and a Card Sketch

Do you have people you LOVE that would LOVE to receive a card like this? If your answer was, "Yes," then you're in luck because....

1.  This beautiful stamp set (Live, Love, Laugh) is available only in May, and can be yours for only $5 with every $50 you purchase (before shipping and tax).  Order $100, get 2...and so on.  When ordering on my website, you'll be prompted to add your set(s) before checking out.

2.  I have decided to include paper measurements for you, quick instructions, and a list of all of the products I used (see the very end of this post for that, complete with photos and links to each of those products).  I've even created a fun little sketch of it for you.  I'd love to hear from you with a photo of your card if you use the sketch.  It would be so much fun for me to see your creations!

  • Card size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2")
  • White Daisy Cardstock:  4" x 2 1/4", 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" (to stamp flower on), 4" x 1/2" (scalloped on one long side)
  • Blue Striped Piece:  4" x 2 1/2" (I used a piece of paper from the Little Dreamer Paper Packet)
  • Pink Heart Strip: 4" x 1/2"  (I actually used the zip strip from the top of the cloud paper in the Little Dreamer Paper Packet)
Instructions:
  • Using your Black Memento Pad, stamp "LOVE" on the 4" x 2 1/4" White Daisy Cardstock piece.   Then stamp the loopy flower on the 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" White Daisy Cardstock pice.   Let dry for a few minutes, then color in with Tender Pink, Turquoise Blue and Leaf Green Shin Han Markers.
  • Adhere "LOVE" piece 1/8" from bottom of card and equidistant from each side of the card.
  • Adhere Blue Striped Piece 1/8" from top of card and equadistant from each side of the card.
  • Using a scallop punch or scalloped scissors, scallop one long side of the 4" x 1/2" White Daisy piece.  Adhere this peeking out from underside of the 4" x 1/2" Pink Heart Strip. Adhere this to card at the top edge of the LOVE piece.
  • Cut out loopy flower (leaving a small white border) and, using 3D Foam Tape, adhere to the card along the Pink Heart Strip, about even with left side of card.
  • Add a small White Dot to the center of the loopy flower.

Enjoy the sketch!  Again, I'd love it if you contacted me with a photo of your creations if you use the sketch. I'd love to see what you come up with!

Love Card with Fundamentals Paper and More

This quick, easy 5" x 7" card is a great way to say, "I love you" to someone special.  I have mixed the Uptown Basics Fundamental Paper Pack and the Rustic Home Fundamental Paper Pack  with a few cardstocks from our Enchantment collection (Poppy and Peacock, sanded lightly). In addition, I've added some of the All Together Complements and used the new Simple Chevron Embossing Folder, the Love Thin Cuts and the Heart Thin Cuts.  All together it made a great card {in my humble opinion....;) }. There are just so many awesome products in the new 2016-17 Catalog that debuted on August 1 that I find it difficult not to use them all at once. You can shop for these and so many products on my website.

I've included a list of all the products I used on this card, as well as photos and links for your convenience, at the end of this post.

Don't forget that August is the Basically the Best special, where if you buy one each of the new Whimsy, Adventure and Enchantment Fundamental Paper Packs, you get your choice of the Rustic Home or Uptown Fundamental Paper Packs for free. You can do that in one easy little click right here.

Love You Card with the July Stamp of the Month

Hello! I created this fun little card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") with the cuter than cutey cute cute July Stamp of the Month (Circus Alphabet).  It was quick and easy.  The supplies I used are at the bottom of the post with links to my site.

I used colored pencils to color in the "LOVE" letters. I colored the entire letter with a lighter green and then shaded the top of each letter with a darker green. I love Close To My Heart's watercolor pencils. You can use them with water, or just as a regular pencil (as I did on this card).

One other little tip. You may notice that the wooden arrows are the bottom of the card are a dark brown (to match the chocolate ink I used as well as the woodgrain washi tape). To get this look I just colored the natural wood trinkets with a brown sharpie. Nifty!

This darling set of 68 stamps (uppercase alpha, lowercase alpha, punctuation and numbers!) is only $5 ($17.95 value) with a $50 purchase (before shipping and tax), and is available during July only.  You can place your order on my website 24/7 and you'll be prompted to add your Circus Alphabet before you check out.  Easy Peasy!

July Stamp of the Month: Circus Alphabet ($5 with a $50 order). Carrier sheet actual size is 6" x 6"
