This "little papercrafting hobby" of mine has brought me some of my dearest friends. This past weekend I spent 3 days with 13 of my customers and friends. We rented a condo, cleared out the living room, filled it with tables, and scrapped to our hearts' content. Thanks so much to Jamielyn and Nichole, who found the place, organized the weekend, and cooked every delicious meal. They are so great! Unfortunately we didn't get a photo of all 13 of us together, but the one above shows me with some of my mostest awesomest (I know those aren't words, but they perfectly describe these ladies) customers and friends. I love that our age group ranges from early 30's to early 60's. I love that age doesn't matter. I love that we all laugh and share this love of scrapping. I love that every single person that I spent the weekend with came into my life as a result of my Close To My Heart business.
Holly (below) is a GREAT example. Another customer brought Holly to one of my scrapbook classes (Play Group) about 9 years ago. She has been with me ever since. Not only is she a great customer, but more importantly, she has become one of my very best friends. This is a girl that I know I can tell anything to and it will remain between us, a girl that is wise and offers the best advice, who has compassion and cares about people, and who is such a great example to me. Thank you Close To My Heart for bringing this wonderful friend into my life!
I love to bring a little something for all of the people who attend (Jamielyn and Nichole organize these events twice a year).
