Winter Wonderland

My yard is covered in snow. My hubby says that the older he gets the more he hates the winter cold and snow. Funny thing is, I am the total opposite. I used to wish for a beach all winter long. Now, I just go with the flow. I don't mind the snow so much. In fact, I think it's absolutely beautiful (as long as I'm looking at it through the window from inside my toasty warm house. lol).

This card was inspired by my front yard. I'm not sure how well you can see the sparkly snowflakes in the photo, but they look just like fresh fallen snow with the sun shining on it. Love that look! To get it I just painted my Dimensional Elements Flurries (Z1225) with Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint (Z1039), and then sprinkled Prisma Glitter (Z134) on top of that and let them dry. Fast, easy and so, so pretty.

Nice card!

I would also have to agree with the husband on the snow thing. My husband is from NW Iowa, and there is NO CHANCE you'll ever see me move there.

We are so tired of the snow here already. That last storm left us with 19", and it's so cold it won't go away!
Love the clean design on this card, Karen. What wonderful teaching with the paint and glitter - fabulous!
