Happy Halloween....errr, Merry Christmas?

Happy Halloween, everyone! I am getting excited to see all the darling trick-or-treaters in a few hours. Right now it is raining here. Bummer for moms and little costumed treat beggars for sure! I swear it rained EVERY Halloween when my kiddos were little. I'm sure I am not experiencing selective memory. I think I stood on the street in the rain for hours every single year while my little ones filled their treat bags. Oh, the memories!

Today I am sharing a photo of an AMAZING Christmas tree. One of my team members, Kris Keys made and donated this tree full of handmade ornaments and a handstamped and quilted velvet tree skirt to the Operation Smile Auction at the Close To My Heart event last weekend. Close To My Heart has chosen Operation Smile as their charity. This tree was GORGEOUS. It was the highest bid on item there. In fact, we raised enough in that auction to pay for 4 new smiles (at approx. $240 each). AWESOME! As a sidenote: I was thrilled that just by asking my customers who would like to round up to the next $ amount on their orders last year, my customers alone paid for one full operation. BRAVO, ladies!

Feel free to click on the photo to see it larger and in more detail. Gorgeous, I tell you! Gorgeous! Did I mention it was gorgeous? Each ornament was handmade with love and care, and each of the squares in the tree skirt quilt were heat stamped on velvet using CTMH stamps. Kris, you are so talented and were so generous in making and donating this item. LOVE YA!
