Happy Halloween Card and an Artwork Tip

First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who helped me celebrate my 50th birthday by ordering on my website Saturday with my birthday special!  Enjoy your freebies. If you ordered on Saturday and have not yet emailed me with your choice of freebies, please do so today (pedermom@aol.com).

Secondly, Halloween is just around the corner (Seriously! If your time experience is like mine, if you blink, it will be here!). The August Stamp of the Month (Purrfect Halloween) is the perfect set to start getting those cute Halloween cards and treats ready, and perfect after Halloween to use to scrap those awesome pics you took of you, your kids, or your grandkids in costume.  Or if you're a tad behind, use it now to scrap last year's pics!

This set is only available in August and is only $5 ($12.95 savings) with every $50 you order (before shipping and tax). Order $100, get 2...and so on.  When ordering on my website, you'll be prompted to add your set(s) before checking out. Easy, peasy!

Artwork tip:  See that cute "Boo!" background stamping?  It's just the 'boo' stamp from the set. To get this look, take a word stamp and stamp a row across the top of the card.  If you have a ruler handy, line it across to help you stay straight. The second row, you'll do the same thing but stagger those so that they don't line up exactly with the stamps in the first row. Move on to third row, stagger again, etc.  It's a quick and easy way to create a uniform but fun background with a single word stamp.

I've included a list of the products I used, as well as photos and links for your convenience, at the end of this post.
